It's hard to say what it is that pushes her necromancer past the line. Not being dragged to Tony Stark's party — not when more than a month has passed since — and certainly he hasn't been going out to interact with anyone, outside the lab he shares with Harrowhark, without her full knowledge and presence.
Maybe that's the problem, though.
He's definitely been acting incongruously all day — endlessly fidgeting with a clickety retractable pen, not to mention the feather dust from the fluttering — before, quite abruptly, informing her (without ever turning to face her, rather than the lab bench in front of him):
"We're going to need more than we've been getting like this, and I do believe Nav is too well-enmeshed, at this point — her conversations are too personal for objective standards. It's going to need to be you."
